DECEMBER 2007 (one year old)

December Ice Storm

This winter has proven to be an interesting one with full of snow, ice, and blistering cold temperatures

No need to adjust the color on your computer - you are seeing PINK!

Yes, Joey has PINK hair! We scheduled a weekend lock-in with our youth back in Nov. and they asked Joey if he would die his hair "pink" if they reached a goal of having 30 youth there. And of course, he said "ok". Well, I don't have to tell you that they met their goal.

So, here he is ladies & gentlemen!!

And this is what he looked like on this Sunday at church --- everyone got a kick out of his hair! Can't you imagine!!??!!

It's so funny! This picture was taken at Burger King and we got so many looks that day. After telling a few onlookers why he had pink hair, here's what a few had to say: "I thought he lost a bet or something" ... "I just thought you (Melissa) had strange taste in men" ... "I thought he may have been in a punk rock band or something"

check it out ...

CHECK OUT THE KID TO THE RIGHT OF JOEY .... see his expression?

Say "Cheese"!

Connor had a great time with his friends on his 5th birthday!! See?!? :)

Cute kids

Connor & Christina in front of our tree at church

It took me forever to get a good picture of them by our church Christmas tree. Christina didn't want to stay still and Connor was ready to go home but I think this picture turned out to be a winner! :)

My little Helper

Connor loves to help me in the kitchen so this year we got in the kitchen together & made chocolate cupcakes for Jesus' birthday on Christmas night! They were yummy!

Christina & Joey

I don't think she meant to but Christina is telling us that she's about to turn "1" tomorrow. (this pic was taken Dec. 16th) Actually, I think she was just pointing at me but oh well! It looks cute anyway! :)

Waiting for Warmer Weather

Well, the temps here have reached their lowest since we've lived here in KC. The highest low that it has been was 11 and that was the Sat. high temp. Bbrrrrrr!!! VERY COLD!! We are from the South so it's very chilly for us!! Not to mention that there is snow on the ground - so you can "feel" the cold by just looking outside. Just click on this link to view our temps here for the next week (http://www.kctv5.com/wxmap/13469562/detail.html) I think they are lying about the temps for next weekend though (ha-ha!) but I hope not ... temps in the 40's would be SO NICE!!
